The Northern Spy is a late season American heirloom variety of Malus domestica. They can produce into late October and beyond, and store deep into winter. Crisp and complex, a New England native cultivar, good for eating or baking. This two color print is made by carefully puzzle piecing together two blocks inked in red and black.
Featured on one of four 2013 US postage stamps designed by John Burgoyne. This print measures 5x6.5", and fits well in a 4x6" mat board or frame opening.
